After deciding with my peer Emily that we would like to continue with the live brief that was set by Something more due, we met up to discuss how we could expand on the outcome of the brief.
We both discussed ideas on how we can incorporate our previous fry guy characters into a refined printed, physical concept. The fry guy characters which we designed was based upon the word given 'potato' to which we created personalities of different types of fries. Our initial thoughts were;
collectable cards
-magnets
-sticker album
-M&S collectable
-freezer packaging
-card game - such as top trumps, snap, guess who
As a collaborative decision, we decided to go down the card game, specifically Snap, due to our briefs target audience being families and Snap is an easy, interactive, fun game suitable for all of the family. Snap would allow the characters to be used in an supporting engaging way, being an effective method to have the audience remember all the type of fries, including the most extravagant types.
